Born in Tippecanoe County on Oct. 11, 1922, he was the son of Harold [Delbert] and Carrie McCay McCormick. He married Betty “Jean” Hitner on July 25, 1949, in Lafayette, and she survives.
Mr. McCormick lived in Camden for 42 years. He owned and operated McCormick Insurance Agency for over 30 years. He was a member of Libanus Masonic Lodge #154 and Independent Order of Odd Fellows, both of Monticello.
Also surviving are three sons, Gregrey McCormick of Lafayette, Jeffery McCormick of Greenfield, and Gary McCormick of Jeffersonville; a daughter, Carla Enyeart of Monticello; and 10 grandchildren.
No services are scheduled. Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
