Mr. Clark was b. 13 Apr. 1850, Iron Hill, IA. On 9 Aug. 1871, he married Mary L. Sade, and 11 children, nine of whom survive, were born to them. His wife passed away at Rusk, OK. 30 Jun. 1899. On 11 Feb. 1901, he married Mrs. Ida L. Lane, of Crescent City, OK., To them were born five children, all of whom are living.
In 1908, Mr. Clark moved to the state of Washington to reside, and has made his home in Anacortes, since 1926.
George E. Clark was one of eleven children, seven boys and four girls, including two sets of twins, two brothers, John and Henry of Jackson Co. IA., and two sisters, Martha Stickley of Maquoketa, Iowa, and and his twin sister, Martha Barton of Woodbury. Iowa are still living.
