Memorial services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon in the First Christian church for Ensign Howard Parker, Jr., navy Hellcat fighter pilot who lost his life January 20 in an accident at his station in the South Pacific, Rev. T. A. Adkins, pastor of the Crown Point Presbyterian church who officiated last June at the young flier's marriage to Betty Jeanne Pardee of Gary, will conduct the rites. Members of the Hobart American Legion and Mothers of World War II will take part in the services. Ensign Parker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Parker.
