Buried ssw/Virginia E. Bell. Father of Mack; Sadie(Tuthill); Nancy(Brown); and Chas. B. Bell. Son of John McClure & Nancy Caroline Bell.

Sheriff R.L. Swepston identified the body of Henry Bell, age 70, who lived on a farm south of Watts, on Friday, May 13, 1960. He said Bell had fallen out of a boat on the Illinois River, after suffering an apparent heart attack while fishing.
Mr. Bell was born near Siloam Springs, AR, April 29, 1890, and had been a lifelong resident of Northwest AR and Adair and Delaware counties in Oklahoma. He was the son of Nancy and James Bell, early settlers of the community. Survivors include two sons, Mack of Rico Rivera, CA, and Charles B. of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Tuthill, El Monte, CA and Mrs. Nancy Brown of Rico Rivera, CA, and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was also survived by three sisters: Mrs. John Tillery of Siloam Springs, AR, Mrs. Emma Tuthill , Pryor, OK, and Mrs. Jane Burge, Sanara, CA. The funeral service was held Monday at 10:30 in the Bethel Church with Rev. Jerry Hopkins officiating. Burial was in the Bethel/Bell Cemetery by the Wasson Funeral Home.
