Mrs. Seagle was born on July 30, 1942 in Cleveland County a daughter of the late Andrew Cambell Brackett, Sr. and Jennie Ethel Whisnant Brackett. Brenda was a loving mother and grandmother, during most of her life she was a homemaker, her places of employment included Skyland Textiles, Cleveland Regional Medical Center as a nursing assistant, beautician and a custodian for Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Cherryville and Clover Hill United Methodist Church of Casar.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Hubert Paul Seagle, Sr. of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula Kay Seagle Quinn and Michael; a step-daughter, Lisa Seagle Roach and husband Ernest all of Cherryville; a step son, Hubert Paul Seagle, Jr. and wife Missy of Charlotte; two sisters Evelyn B. Davis and Margaret B. Short both of Casar; two grandchildren, Austin Lee Houser and Justin Blake Houser; five step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at Clover Hill United Methodist Church at 2:00PM on Monday, August 9, 2010 with the Revs. David Miner and Tim Robbins officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00PM on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home of a daughter, Paula and Michael Quinn, 121 Russola Dr. Cherryville.
