Funeral services for Clyde A Rickman will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Waverly United Methodist Church Interment will be in the Waverly Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Citizen Center in care of Jones Funeral Home Waverly.

Waverly- Services for Clyde A Rickman 77, Waverly who died today at the Lyndon Nursing home will be announced later by Jones Funeral Home, Waverly.
Rickman was born April 3, 1904 at Waverly. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He had been a substitute rural letter carrier for over 25 years, and belonged to Luck Grange for over 25 years.
On Sept. 14, 1926 he married Mary E. Barnhart at Emporia. She survives.
Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs Donnie Hess, Waverly; Mrs Wanda Thompson, Melvern; Mrs Shirley Williams, Riverside, CA; Mrs Audrey Fears, Speary, OK, and Mrs Vicki Sontag, Houston; a son Larry Rickman, Anderson AFB, Guam; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a sister Mrs Bessie Jennings, Waverly.
