Jessie Ethel Ramey Rickman died Tuesday April 26 1977 at the Newman Hospital Emporia.
She had been hospitalized several days. Services were Thursday April 28, 1977 at the Waverly United Methodist Church. Burial was in Waverly Cemetery Jones Funeral Home of Waverly was in charge of arrangements.
Jessie Rickman was born Nov 1, 1885 at the French Ridge community south of Waverly to William R. and Martha Joseph Ramey. She married Albert A. Rickman on November 1, 1900 he died on Aug 26, 1963.
She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church. Mrs Rickman had spent most of her life in the Waverly community. She was preceded in death by one daughter Florence Makepeace on January 25, 1975.
Survivors include a son Clyde Rickman of Lyndon, a daughter Bessie Jennings of Waverly, twelve grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren
