Martha Elizabeth Hallmark was born April 1846 in Houston County, Texas to David Mynatt and Altha Larkin Hallmark. She had eleven brothers and six sisters.Elijah David Hallmark was one of Martha's brother.

Martha married John Lollar About 1875. They probably married in Houston County, Texas as that is where Martha was born and her family had lived there since they came to Texas in 1837. Together she and John had five children, Margaret, Lula, Laura, Roxy and Vina.

Martha is found in the 1900 census listed as a widow and living with her daughter Margaret and her husband Andrew in Tarrant County, Texas. She is found on the 1910 census in Johnson County living with Charles David and Laura Lollar Hallmark, her daughter and son-in-law.

John is not buried here and his burial site is as yet unknown by the author.
