Son of Charles Martin Adkins and Ida Elizabeth Shafer, Husband of Olive Mae Baker.

Mr Guy Hamilton Adkins Sr., 92, formerly of 8022 Old Hagerstown Road, Middletown, died Sunday, Oct. 25, at Meridian Nursing Home, Frederick.
Born Sept. 19, 1900, in Frederick County, he was a son of the late Charles M. and Ida Shafer Adkins. He was the last of his immediate family.Mr. Adkins was a retired employee of the Frederick County Roads Department. He was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Middletown, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Brunswick.Surviving are a daughter, Thelma DiBennedetto of Temple Hills; four sons, Guy Adkins Jr. of Walkersville, Ray Adkins and Lee Adkins, both of Middletown, and Harold Adkins of Frederick; and 15 grandchildren.Friends may call anytime Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 28, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark A. Wakefield, Mr. Adkins pastor, officiating.
