Mrs. Margaret E. Wilbanks, 81, of Florence, passed away Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at ECM Hospital. She was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Florence.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today, Aug. 7, 2010, at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Jerry Balentine.
Mrs. Wilbanks was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wilbanks; son, Johnny M. Hamm; parents, Charlie and Roxie Vaughn Richardson; five brothers, Owen, James, Delano, Paul and Norman Richardson; and a sister, Earline Poole.
She is survived by a son, Bobby E. Hamm and wife, Sheri, of Florence; daughter, Gail Jenkins, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Cloyd Richardson ( Arlene), of Killen, and David (Bob), of Indiana; three sisters, Kathleen Pulley, of Texas, Myrtle Wright, of Indiana, and Jean Peters (Rudolph), of Sheffield; two grandchildren, Russell Morris Hamm and Zack William Hamm; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Pallbearers will be Jack Richardson, Dewayne Richardson, Brian Hunt, Vince Berry, Mike Hamm and Eric Terrell.
Honorary pallbearers will include Roland and Josh Richardson.
The family of Mrs. Wilbanks would like to say a special thanks to Brian and Rene' Hunt, niece, Rebecca Peters and mother of Maw's Boys, Michelle Berry.
