Myrtle Elizabeth Wright,96, passed away on Friday, January 13,2023. She was born on August 27, 1926 at Lauderdale County, Alabama to the late Charlie Lee and Roxie Belle (Vaughn) Richardson.
On December 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Elmer (Uncle Booge) H. Wright who preceded her in death in 1981.
Myrtle was a production worker for Uniroyal before retiring in 1986.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Pulley, Margaret Evelyn Wilbanks, and her brothers, Charlie Owen Richardson, Warren Delano Richardson, Robert Paul Richardson, James Franklin Richardson, and Norman Howard Richardson; sisters-in-law Faye Richardson and Arlene Richardson and her brother-in-law Rudolph Peters.
Myrtle is survived by her sister, Jean Peters of Sheffield, Alabama and brothers David Richardson of Mishawaka, Indiana and Rufus Cloyd Richardson of Killen, Alabama.
Services for Myrtle will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday January 18, 2023, at Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery.
