He was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery at Ittenbach, Germany on 30 March 1945. He was transferred to Margraten en first buried there at block TT, row 4, grave 94 on 20 August 1945. He was disinterred on 14 September 1948 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on Ocotber 5, 1948. He was given his final resting place on 9 February 1949.
