He was born August 02, 1929 in Orange County, North Carolina the son of William and Lessie (Dean) Ashworth. Mr. Ashworth lived at 323 Maple St., Cary, North Carolina. He was a retired baker for Taylor Biscuit Co., where he worked for 30 years. Mr. Ashworth was a member of Triangle Worshiping Church of Raleigh.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie Ashworth. Mr. Ashworth is also survived by his sons: Donald Ray and wife, Kelly Ashworth, of Fuquay-Varina, Eddie and wife, Dawn Ashworth, of Cary; grandsons: Josh Ashworth, Aaron Ashworth, Jason Ramos; and his granddaughters: Amber Parker, Jennifer Parker
He was preceded in death by his father William Ashworth, and his mother Lessie Ashworth.
