Sgt. Chester Lee Thivener Missing In Action. "Missing in action over Germany June 20 is St. Sgt. Chester Thivener, 20, son of Mr. & Mrs. Roy (Myrtle Osa Boggs) Thivener, Cheshire, Ohio. According to word to the parents Monday. Thivener has been in the service for longer than two years and he was an air force gunner and a recipient of the Air Medal.
