T.D. Wooten Dies; Funeral This Afternoon. Thomas Durrette Wooten, 39, of 6306 Sylvan Dr., owner and operator of the Wooten Real Estate Co., died suddenly yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Wooten was born in Camden, Sept 8, 1919, a son of Mrs. Carrie Durrette and the late Ernest L. Wooten. He had made his home in Columbia for the past 11 years and was a member of the Forest Lake Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Felder Wooten; one son, Thomas D. (Tommy) Wooten, Jr.; his mother, Mrs. E. L. Wooten, Sr., of Camden; two brothers, Dr. E. W. Wooten and Oscar S. Wooten, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from Dubar Funeral Home, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. J. S. Harvard. Interment will be in Quaker Cemetery, Camden.
