Death Claims Letts Resident
Services Monday for
Benjamin Voiles
Benjamin Reece Voiles, 79, a lifelong resident of the Letts Community, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at his home in Letts. He had been ill for several months.
Born in 19 April 1868, he was the son of William Voiles and Ruth Michael and was the last of a family of six children. For the past three years he had resided at Letts and prior to that time operated a farm three miles southeast of Letts.
His wife the former Hannah Elliott. The couple had no children but had reared Leslie Bower. Mr. Voiles was widely known in the Letts Community.
The survivors are the widow and a number of neices and nephews.
Funeral rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Church at Letts. The Rev. Gladys Marsh will officiate. Burial will be made in the Mt. Aerie Cemetery, at Letts.
