Services Tuesday For Miss Cherny
North Bend - Services for Miss Millie Cherny, 69, who died Sunday at a local hospital after a three-and-a-half month illness, will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sellhorn Funeral Home. The Rev. L.A. Warren will officiate.
Surviving are a brother, Leon J. of North Bend; sisters, Alice of North Bend, Mrs. Harry (Helen) Brown of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cherny and a brother, James E.
Miss Cherny, who had lived in this community all her life, was born March 1, 1889, in North Bend. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska and had been principal of Morse Bluff High School several years and was on the North Bend High School faculty several years.
She was a member of PEO, Order of Eastern Star, North Bend Women's Club, Ideal Homemakers and the Extension Club.
