Marine City, March 25 - Adolph Achatz, 55, life-long resident of Cottrellville township, died Tuesday night of heart disease while eating his super in his home.
He was born June 30, 1886 in the home in which he died, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Achatz. He has been a farmer all his life.
Mr. Achatz is survived by his widow; five sons, Aloysius Achatz, Ira township; Cyril, Bernard, Gordon and Adolph Achatz, Jr; a daughter, Mary Achatz all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ira Dust and Mrs. Harry Conlin, both of Marine City; Mrs. Harry Conlin, both of Marine City; Mrs. Oliver Roemer, Detroit, and Mrs. Robert Crawford, Highland Park; four brothers, Ralph and Frank Achatz, both of China township, Fred Achatz, Cottrellville township, and Theodore Achatz, Detroit, and one grandchild.
