WELL KNOWN LOCAL MAN DIED AT SISTER'S HOME HERE YESTERDAY
John William Sams, aged 58 years, died yesterday noon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Anna Moore, 809 Lynn Street, following an illness due to complications.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E Sams, of South Side and five daughters, Mrs. Della Rose, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Fannie Friend, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Stella Lockhart, of Akron; Mrs. Oma Caplinger, New England, W. Va.; Miss Freda Sams, of South Side. Four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hupp, of South Side, Mrs. Maggie Richardson, city, Mrs. Myrtle Collins, city; brothers, George Sams, of New England; Thomas Sams, of Ravenswood; Charles Sams of Mansfield, Ohio; and Thurman Sams of Belpre, also survive.
