William E. Beaver Sr., 72, of Cedar Hill died July 2, 2010, at John Cochran Veterans Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Bearvers was a reitree and a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He was born May 29, 1938, in Watts, Okla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Beavers.

He is survived by a son, William E. Beavers Jr. of Worden, Ill.; a daughter, Roxanne (Billy) Chavers of Lonedell; two step-sons: Richard (Kathy) Barnes of Leadwood and Chuck (Loretta) Barnes of Pevely; a stepdaughter, Penny (Terry) Hill of Dittmer; 10 grandchildren: Adam, Jessie and Hanna Chavers; Brytnee, Jackee and Ashley Barnes; Heather Haskins; Chuck Branes Jr.; Brenden and Danielle Barnes; and three great-grandchildren: Rylei Hayes, Hailey Green and Hayden Ingram.

Graveside services were held July 6 at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
