BRUCE - Nella Dean Daniell Bruce died November 17, 2003 on her 87th birthday at Ross Memorial Health Care center in Kennesaw, GA. She was born to the late J. Frank and Ludie Shiver Daniell in Coolidge, Ga. She married Charles Liles Bruce in 1940. They owned and operated Bruce's Grocery in Kingsland for more than 30 years until his retirement in the mid-1970's. Her job as a cashier was enjoyable because her customers were her friends as well. She was an active member of Kingsland United Methodist Church and its Women's Missionary Society. Nella was proceeded (sic) in death by her husband in 1988. She is survived by two sons, Daniell L. and daughter-in-law Carol Bruce and David D. Bruce; five grandchildren, Daniell Bruce, Jr., Glenn Bruce,; Heather Bruce; Chris Bruce and Paul Bruce; one brother, James F. Daniell of Winchester, Tenn.; two brother-in-law law, John Ed Bruce and Woodrow Bruce of Kingsland; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Edo Miller Camden Chapel. The family will meet at Edo Miller Camden Chapel at 10 a.m. to leave for graveside services, Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at Homeward Cemetery with Rev. Jay Hughes officiating.
