MRS. G. E. (Bessie) Mosely Sr., of 903 Warren dr., West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at a Jonesboro hospital, where her brother Dr. Joe M. Funderburk is director. She was 73 years old and had been in ill health for several months, and was born in Hico, Louisiana and had lived in Caldwell Parish, Columbia, Louisiana most of her life until approximately 7 years ago, when she moved to West Monroe, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Brother and Mrs. N. R. Funderburk, of Winnsboro, Louisiana. Brother Funderburk was a pioneer minister of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by 10 children, 5 sons, Chief Petty Officer G. E. Mosely Jr., of Great Lakes, Ill., Sgt. Burke Mosely of Denver, Colorado, Jewel Mosely, of Huttig, Arkansas, Laverne Mosely, of Dallas, Texas, Bruce Mosely, of Columbia, Louisiana, 5 daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stevenson, Mrs. Ruth Bradley, both of West Monroe, Mrs. Bess M. Blissard, of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Gay Gernon and Miss Mary Myrth Mosely, both of New Orleans, La., 2 brothers, Dr. Joe M. Funderburk, of Jonesboro, La., and M. M. Funderburk, of Sterlington, La.; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and also the widows of her late brothers, Mrs. Vern J. Funderburk, of Winnsboro, La. and Mrs. Rathan Funderburk, of Wisner, La.

Services will be held in West Monroe, at the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ at 11 o'clock a.m. Friday, March 13, 1964, with Brother Albert Fleetwood, assisted by Brother Bill Smith, officiating.

Interment in Columbia Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, of Monroe, La.

Graveside services will be held at the Columbia Cemetery.

Pallbearers Lorraine Duplissey, Gerald McIlwain, Hugh Green and Tommie Goyne, James Stanley, Adrain Brashears and honorary pallbearers, Dr. James D. Kelly, Dr. E. L. Carroll, Mr. George Erskine and Mr. Jack T. Hollis.
