The funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday March 30, at Eulia General Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Sloan officiating. Burial follows in Eulia Cemetery.
Mrs. Leath was born in Macon County Aug. 21, 1905, to the late William Alexander McClard and Lucy Jane Burris McClard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mayo Leath, a brother Charlie McClard; and three sisters, Eltie Alvis, Selma Kemp, and Maggie McClard.
She was retired from the Sumner County Board of Education and was a member of Eulia General Baptist Church.
Mrs. Leath is survived by a son, Jack Leath, of Westmoreland; a grandson, Gregg Leath, of Westmoreland; and two great-grandsons, Matthew Swallows and Kyle Leath.
