I was born and raised in Macon Co., Tennessee, and have been doing genealogical research for about 47 years. Since finding "Find A Grave", I have started adding as much information as I can. My Dad was from Macon Co., and my Mom was from Sumner Co.
Due to the fact that the court house in Macon Co., has burned 3 times, much of the information has been lost and the only way we can recollect it is thru others who may have the information in their possession. Only by helping others and hoping that others return the favor can we obtain this much needed information. Since retiring, I am trying to do my part. If anyone sees anything that I have listed incorrectly please let me know.
