Myron, the son of John Wesley and Nettie Proctor, was the youngest brother of Lois, Wesley, Miriam, Caryl, Henry and Charles. When Myron was 2 years old, the family moved from Corning to the central valley of California. They settled on a ranch in Hughson where they ranched for many years. Myron was educated in the local schools. His death, at 20 yrs old, was sudden following an operation from which he failed to recover. Previous to his death, his father and mother had sold the ranch in Hughson and he and they were living in Turlock.
