She was born near Whitestown, Indiana, June 26, 1857, and moved to Kansas at the age of 12, settling at Leavenworth. A Grantville resident 25 years, she was a member of the old school Predestinarian Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Zinn; another daughter, Mrs. Della Davis of 1168 High; a son, Firman A. Ellison, of Waco, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Z.J. Allen of Omaha and Mrs. Edith Bartlett of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother L.L. Schenck of Williamstown; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and one great- great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in the Plum Grove Cemetery near Oskaloosa. The family asks no flowers be sent.
