Jewell B. Hall

Jewell B. Hall, 73, Anderson, died Nov. 25, 1995, at Community Hospital following an extended illness.

Born March 12, 1922, in Hornersville, Mo., she had been a resident of Anderson since 1943. She was employed by Sears Roebuck Co. in the sewing machine department and later in appliance sales. She retired in 1988.

She attended First Baptist Church, was a member of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), and taught sewing classes at the Anderson Area Vocational-Technical School for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Gene, of Anderson, to whom she was married Oct. 17, 1947; a son and daughter-in-law, Murray D. Hall and Judith Hall of Lithonia, Ga., a sister, Sally Byrd of Memphis, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. W. Shirell Fox officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
