WELLINGTON , June 1--Funeral services for Beecher C. Lindsey, 74, were conducted from the Methodist church in Wellington Friday afternoon. He died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday.
Mr. Lindsey, a native Texas, was born in Denton county February 17, 1867. He had lived in Wellington 16 months.
Survivors include eight children, Claud Lindsey of Rogers, Arkansas; Frank Lindsey of Kingsbury, California; Henry Lindsey and Mrs. J.F. Ogletree of Mesa, Arizona; Miss Aline Lindsey of Wellington; Mrs. T.L. Reeves of Norco, California; Mrs. W.P. Steen of Crosbyton; and Mrs. Orvil Housdin of Clarendon. A sister and two brothers, mrs. C.C. Jerrell of Quanah, Walt Lindsey of Denton and Edd Lindsey of California also survive.
