Joseph came to Nebraska with his parents and siblings. His father initially tried homesteading in Holt County, Nebraska. After his father gave up his homesteading claim the family settled in Omaha for a time before returning to the East. Joseph and his wife, Jessie, lived in the East for five years but eventually made Omaha their permanent home.

Funeral service Wednesday 8:15 am from Hoffman Chapel to St. Rose Church at 9:00. Interment Holy Sepulchre. Rosary will be recited 8:00 pm Tuesday.
