One of 15 children, Linnea had seven brothers and seven sisters.

She left home at age 13 and worked in various places including Almelund where she met her husband, Fred T Nelson.

They were married Nov 23, 1928 and operated a farm north of Center City. They also transported livestock and ran a resort; renting cabins and boats on North Center Lake.

She was a member of the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City.

She is survived by her daughter, Harriet Olson of Lindstrom; two grandsons Brian and Bruce both of Center City, 4 great grandchildren; brother Olaf Kallman of Alaska; three sisters Alva Parmenter, CA, Ruthie Boatman; Center City and Amelia Palmquist, Lindstrom.

Interment was at Hillside Cemetery, Center City
