Miss Amanda Hewell Died Tuesday Morning.
Miss Amanda Hewell, well known LaFayette woman, died at her home in LaFayette early Tuesday morning of this week after an illness of several days. She was living at the time of her death with her sister, Miss Mary Hewell, and as far as is known she is the only known relative surviving the deceased.
The deceased had made LaFayette her home for a long period of years, and was well known in LaFayette and Chambers County.
The funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Church with Revs. T. H. Johnson and J. M. White the officiating ministers. Interment was in the Macedonia cemetery with Robinson & Cutler in charge.
