Death of Miss Mattie Hewell.
The death of Miss Mattie Hewell at her home near town on Friday March 13th, brought rest to one whose body had suffered much though she was always hopeful and cheerful. For some weeks prior to her death she suffered much and death was a relief to her. At the time of her death, she was 60 years of age. She left one brother and five sisters to mourn her going away. The interment was held at Macedonia Cemetery. A more extended narrative will appear next week, giving something of the life and character of the departed. To the bereaved "The Sun" offers confidence.
