Liberty''s Latest.
Charles Crawford died at the residence of O. F. Proudfoot on Friday evening last week. The funeral services were held Sunday morning at the M.E. church conducted by Rev. Morris assisted by Revs. Proudfoot and Mullen. In the decease of Father Crawford ends the life of the oldest resident in this community, if not the township, he having reached the advanced age of eighty-eight years. He had served in the war of 1812; was a member of the Presbyterian church; lived a quiet, contented life and died respected by all who knew him.
Note: Charles was the son of Hugh and Lavisa Crawford. The birth year was calculated by using the age at the time of death.
