Mrs. Lora Hawkins Williams, 87, of 614 Cleveland St., Springdale, Ark., died May 24, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born March 19, 1908, at Combs, Ark., the daughter of Charlie and Rose Smith Simmons. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Street Church of Christ of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Edmond Hawkins on Feb. 6, 1965, and Cassie Dewey Williams on June 28, 1987.

Survivors include one son, Bill Hawkins of Farmington; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Burnett, Mrs. Evelyn Burnett and Mrs. Margie Beasley, all of Springdale; one stepson, Ray Williams of Cheney, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Darlene Ritter of Cheney, Wash., Mrs. Oleta Bryant of Pettigrew, and Mrs. Faye Langley of Methow, Wash.; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 26, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Branum and Wiley Davis, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Combs Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Donnie Burnett, Darrell Drain, Mike Burnett, Jerry Drain, Steve Drain, and Lyndell Burnett. Honorary pallbearers were Farron Burnett, Randy Burnett, Jim Jenning and Carl Sarratt.
