Mrs. Marion Norman
Mrs. Marion Norman, Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Emporia, died Wednesday afternoon in Kansas City. She was the aunt of Con Van Cleave, 1223 West St., Mrs. Thomas (Zelma) Rees, 915 Merchant St., and Mrs. Calvin Cowan, 127 South Merchant St.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. Eugene Cundiff, pastor of the Cottonwood Friends Church. Burial will be in Line Cemetery northeast of Madison.
Mrs. Norman, the former Norma D. Anderson, daughter of Pleasant and Henrietta Barnes Anderson, was born Jan. 2nd, 1884, in Blakesburg, Iowa, and married in 1905 in Albia, Iowa. She was a member of the Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in February, 1933, and by one sister, Laura [Lora] Bell Pitts, who died in 1960. She is survived by one son, Glenn, of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Wilda Norman, of the home, and her nephew and nieces.
