Arthur Allen Anderson, 90, of Harrison died Monday, Feb. 19 (2007) at Golden Living Nursing Home in Harrison.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Elmwood Baptist Church with Brother Don Crosswhite and Brother Wendell Crosswhite officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Christeson Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rex Tharp, Dale Blair, Robert Anderson, Dale Van Winkle, Virgil Van Winkle and James Daniell. Honorary pallbearers include Earl Dean Crosswhite, Wendell Crosswhite, Don Crosswhite, Melvin Raney and Kevin Staggs.

The son of Isaac B. and Lenora (Denning) Anderson was born Oct. 30, 1916, at Green Forest. He was a prior resident of Green Forest. He was a retired public school teacher and a retired minister of Elmwood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Veta Lavern Anderson; three daughters, Debbra Crow, Cindy Daniell and Barbara Anderson; a sister, Dorothy Brown; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
