Charles Colegrove, a much-respected citizen, passed away at his home at Canadice Hollow Friday at the age of 84 years. He was born in the town of Springwater. The past fifty-four years of his married life were spent on the farm, where he died. During his illness, he was tenderly cared for by his grandson, Charles Colegrove, Jr, who had made his home with his grandfather since infancy. Surviving are three sons, William and Harlow of Rochester, and Floyd; two brothers, Jotham of Rochester and Colonel of this place, and several grandchildren. The services were held at the church Sunday afternoon, the pastor, Mr Louis Teague, officiating. Interment was made in the Evergreen cemetery at Springwater
