MRS. ALICE M. CURTICE
Springwater — Mrs. Alice M. Curtice, widow of Charles Curtice, of Springwater, died unexpectedly following a heart attack early Saturday morning, January 26,1935, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Schwab, on East Hill, at the age of 75.
Mrs. Curtice was the daughter of Harlow and Lydia Colegrove and was born in Canadice on August 29, 1859. She was of a family of seven children, four sons and three daughters, two daughters dying at the ages of five and nine years. Her oldest brother, Orrien Colegrove, also preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Charles F. Curtice on June 20, 1880. Mr. Curtice passed away on November 20, 1914. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Curtice is survived by three brothers, Elmer Colegrove, and Charles Colegrove, both of Canadice and Jotham Colegrove of Rochester, and one grandson, Curtice Schwab, of Rochester. She had lived in Canadice and Springwater all her life, with the exception of three years, when she was a resident of Romeo, Mich.
Funeral services were conducted from the home on Monday afternoon at two o'clock, with burial in Mount Vernon Evergreen cemetery in Springwater. The Rev. John L. Conklin rreacher in the Advent Christian church of Springwater, officiated.
