Alder P. Betti, 66, of 1207 Dickinson Drive , Carlisle, formerly of Kittanning, died Sunday, June 12, 1988, at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey. He was born Dec. 20 1921 in Kittanning to Nello and Gina (Rossi) Betti. He was a career Military Man who served in two wars. Mr. Betti was a retired U.S. Army Captain, serving in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and in to Korean War with the U.S. Army. Until recently he was a helicopter instructor at Ft. Rucker in Alabama . He was also retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a former member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Zellefrow) Betti; two daughters, Mrs. George (Cheryl) Nolte of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Mrs. Anthony (Gina) Marcucci of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers, Albert Betti of East Detroit, Mich., Herman Betti of Crestline, Ohio and William Betti of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Shankle of Crestline, Ohio and Mrs. Guido (Sarah) Colo of Kittanning; and five grandchildren. BETTI-Friends of Alder P. Betti, 66, of Dickinson Drive , Carlisle , formerly of Kittanning, who died Sunday, June 12, 1988, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday at Bauer Funeral Home in Kittanning where a parish Wake service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning, The Rev. Thomas J. Bertolina will officiate. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association of to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Bauer
