Of Bellwood, died at the Altoona hospital last evening at 8.25 o'clock after a brief illness. Mrs. Burns, aged 76, was the widow of George C. Burns, who died in 1933. She was a member of the Logan Valley Baptist church, Bellwood. Surviving are one son, S.R. Burns of Bellwood; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Grazier and Mrs. Marie Hollen, both of Bellwood, and three sisters. Friends will be received at the Fuoss mortuary after noon Wednesday.

BURNS -- Funeral services or Mrs. Effie P. Burns of Bellwood will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock at the Fuoss mortuary chapel in Bellwood in charge of Rev. G.W. Meadows. Friends will be received at the mortuary after noon Wednesday.
