The son of John Henry Blackstock [1840-1917] and Millie Elizabeth Blackstock [1846-1928].

Bud would marry Georgia Word "Bertie" Moore on November 24, 1894 (Clan Blackstock). Georgia was the sister to Bud's brother's wife, Cordelia Anna Moore.

The Blackstock's had the following children:
*Willie Pearl Blackstock [1897-1991]
*Annie Estelle Blackstock Kuhlman [1899-1979]
*Hazel Inez Blackstock {1902-]
*Frances Louisa Blackstock Barber [1905-1984]

Bud was killed according to newspaper accounts in a construction accident while working as a carpenter on the Rome Courthouse. His brother Charley was the contractor for the job.
