Last rites held in Vaiden for Ben Lee Fisher

Last rites for Ben Lee Fisher were held Monday afternoon at 3:00 at the Vaiden Methodist Church with Rev. Sampley, Rev. Black and Rev. Ezell officiating. Mr. Fisher died Sunday after an illness of several months.

Mr. Fisher was born November 2, 1890 in Carroll County and married the former Miss Minnie McCorkle. He was a member of the Vaiden Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of Vaiden; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Taylor and Mrs. James Rimmer, Greenwood, Mrs. Sam Hobart, Vicksburg; one son, Billie Lee Fisher, Vaiden; Mrs. Elizabeth Glenn, Carrollton, Mrs. Ellen Elliott, Winona, Mrs. B. F. Eubank, Coila; three brothers, John Fisher, Jr., Vaiden, Frank Fisher, Carrollton and Ed Fisher, Como; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Willie Crook, W. C. Welch, Coleman Palmertree, John Vandiver, Homer Holly, Robert Baskin, John Ward Eades and Cordell Pinkston.

Last rites held in Vaiden for Ben Lee Fisher
