FUNERAL RITES HELD TUESDAY FOR MR. FISHER
Funeral services for William Franklin Fisher, 85, were held at 2pm Tuesday at Southern Funeral Chapel in Lexington. The Rev Jimmy Buskirk officiated. Burial was in New Salem Cem. near Vaiden.
Mr. Fisher died Monday in a Jackson hospital. He was a Methodist and retired lumberman. He formerly operated Fisher Lumber Company in Lexington.
He leaves 3 sons, Tom Fisher of Jackson, John Fisher of McComb, and Wililam J. Fisher of Sulpher, LA; a brother, J.L. Fisher of Vaiden; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ellen Elliott of Acona, and Mrs. B.F. Eubanks of Coila; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Curtis Moore, John Fisher Jr., Bernard Sanders, John Word, Charles Ellison, and Virgil Ingold Sr.
