OBIT: Mrs. Chrissie STENGER - DUNLAP - Mrs. Chrissie STENGER, 71, of Dunlap, died Friday at 10:10 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital, after a lengthy illlness. Mrs. Stenger, a daughter of Joseph and Kate HEINZ GERMAN, was born Feb. 20, 1889 in Princeville. She was married to George Stenger on Jan. 10, 1912 at Princeville. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Ralph of Rutland, and LaVerne of Peoria Heights; two daughters, Kathryn Stenger at home and Mrs. Fred (Beatrice) MCCOLLUM of Dunlap; one brother, Frank of Princeville, and five grandchildren. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church in Dunlap, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Clements Church with the Rev. Ralph Gates officiating. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. and from 7 until 9 p.m. today at Schreiner Mortuary in Dunlap. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Clements Cemetery.
