Mr. and Mrs. Strine helped out many friends and neighbors in distress, often taking them into their home to live until they could start out on their own again. She loved music and for many years gave piano lessons. She was affectionately known as "Gram" for her eight grandchildren and her pocketbook was a store house of gum, candy and other good things to eat for them and their friends. She will be sadly missed by her neighbors and many friends.
