Hallie (Snyder) Campbell, 81, St. Joseph, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996, at a St. Joseph hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Campbell was a secretary and bookkeeper for Gus Stuebner and the Northwest Area of the Christian Churches in Missouri for many years.
Born in Buchanan County on Nov. 11, 1914, she had lived most of her life in St. Joseph.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the First Christian Church, where she was active in the Friendship Sunday School Class, Christian Women's Fellowship and Circle of 12. She also was a member of Chapter H.Y. of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin H. Campbell, in 1992; and a brother, C. R. Snyder.
Surviving: a daughter Nancy B. Jones, St. Joseph; and two grandchildren.
Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer-Fleeman Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Burial: Faucett (MO) Cemetery. Family visitation: 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
