Mrs. Agatha Gabbert, the beloved wife of Dr. Z. T. Gabbert, died Tuesday morning at her home at Casey Creek, of paralysis. The deceased was born in Adair County, Sept. 2nd, 1861, making her 65 years, 8 months and 15 days of age. In early life the deceased professed faith in Christ and united with the Christian Church at Absher where she remained a consistent member until her death. On September 14th, 1878, she was married to Dr. Z. T. Gabbert and to this union eight children were born, one of whom died in infancy. Those who with their father mourn the departure of their dear mother are: Mr. L. Y. and Dr. F. F. Gabbert of Casey Creek; F. M. Gabbert of this city; M. R. Gabbert of Pittsburgh; Mrs. M. M. Murrell of Kansas; Mary L. Gabbert of Murray; and Grace Gabbert of Ft. Thomas, Ky. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. E. B. Kemm, pastor of the local Christian church, yesterday and the remains were brought to this city for burial in the Brookside Cemetery. To the bereaved husband, children, relatives and friends we extend our sincere sympathy.
