Mrs. Covert was born Dec. 24, 1913, in the Town of South Valley, N.Y., the daughter of the late Louis and Daisey Bell Kennison Buvoltz.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Randolph, and the Randolph Garden Club for many years. She also was a former member of the E. Randolph Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are seven daughters: Pauline Kelley, Mary Jane Lee, Joanne Covert, Judith Agan, Diana Walsh, Linda Meacham and Bonnie Bittle; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Louis and Harold Buvoltz; and a sister, Dorothy Abbey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Covert, whom she married on June 18, 1937, and who preceded her on June 9, 2000; a grandson, Vance Woodard; twin brothers: Stuart and Steven Buvoltz and brother, Harry Buvoltz; sisters; Anna Shaw and Florence Gates Colburn.
