Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Theodore Joseph "Ted" Moore, Jr., Age 74, at 2:00PM Friday March 27, 2009 at ST. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois and Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday March 26, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume Friday March 27, 2009 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday March 26, 2009 at 7:00 AM at the funeral home.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Ted died Monday March 23, 2009 at 11:10AM at his residence in Jeanerette. He worked for Teche Electric as an operations supervisor retiring after 38 years of service. He retired from the La. National Guard 156th Infantry as a 1st Sergeant. Mr. Ted enjoyed woodworking and caring for his family. Because of his love for God and his people in the church he often gave of his time and talents without expecting recognition or acknowledgment. This selfless generosity is most appreciated by his church family.

Survivors include three daughters, Irene M. Tramonte and husband Byron of West Palm Beach, Florida, Tina Frances M. Blanchard and husband Steven of Jeanerette and Mary Anne Moore of New Iberia; one sister Mary Margaret Verret and husband Leonard of Jeanerette; grandchildren, James Landry and wife Chantal of New Iberia, Monique Landry Hankenhof and her husband Rob of New Iberia, Mignon Landry of Lafayette and Theodore and Megan Tramonte both of West Palm Beach, Florida and a great grandchild, Caleb Hankenhof of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Landry Moore; his parents, Theodore J. Moore, Sr. and Carrie Bergeron Moore and one brother, Cleveland Moore.

Pallbearers will be Mary Anne Moore, James Landry, Dr. Rob Hankenhof, Steven Blanchard, Byron Tramonte, Caleb Hankenfof, Teddy Tramonte, and Leonard Verret

Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin "Ga" Hebert, B.J. LeJeune, Todd Martin,and Eugene Migues
