SUPERIOR, Neb. -- Willis Henry Armstrong, 93, Superior, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006.
Mr. Armstrong was born May 3, 1912, in Red Cloud. He was employed with the State of Nebraska, Department of Roads, retiring in 1977. Following retirement, he worked for the City of Superior at the landfill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora; a daughter, Dorothy; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Korb of Superior and Phyllis Vann of Canby, Ore.; a son, Roger of Midland, N.C.; a brother, Dean of Red Cloud; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Williams Funeral Home Chapel, 814 Idaho, Superior 68978. Burial will be in Guide Rock Cemetery, Guide Rock.
